General Information about the AWS Pop-up Loft


The AWS Pop-up Loft is a space where startups are invited to stop by, hang out, and receive free, in-person AWS technical guidance from our expert AWS Solution Architects, Engineers, Product Managers, Support, and thought leaders.

Drop in for a session with an AWS Solutions Architect knowing availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. And we’ll have snacks and drinks.
All activities offered in the AWS Loft are free.
The AWS Pop-up Loft will be open November 4-15, 2019. Our hours of operation are 09:00 – 18:00 Monday through Friday. There will be extended evening hours for special events.
The AWS Pop-up Loft Munich is located in Oskar-von-Miller-Ring 20, 80333 Munich, only a few walking minutes away from Odeonsplatz.
The AWS Pop-up Loft is open to both existing customers and to anyone interested in building their applications & business on AWS. The AWS Pop-up Loft will offer events for entrepreneurs, tips for startups and lots of opportunities to network.
Our AWS Technical Support tiers cover development and production issues for AWS products and services, along with other key stack components:
  • "How to" questions about AWS services and features
  • Best practices to help you successfully integrate, deploy, and manage applications in the cloud
  • Troubleshooting API and AWS SDK issues
  • Troubleshooting operational or systemic problems with AWS resources
  • Issues with our Management Console or other AWS tools
  • Problems detected by EC2 health checks
  • A number of third-party applications such as OS, web servers, email, VPN, databases, and storage configuration
AWS Support does not include:
  • Code development
  • Debugging custom software
  • Performing system administration tasks
Please, do. Although, we recommend that everyone registers online prior to coming to the AWS Pop-up Loft.
Please bring your registration QR code (print or mobile) for onsite check-in. If you are participating in Technical Bootcamp, you will need to bring your own laptop. And of course, please bring all of your AWS questions!
Yes, we welcome walk-ins, but encourage you to register online. Space is limited and availability onsite is first-come, first-served.
You will receive a confirmation email once we have received your session registration through the AWS Pop-up Loft Munich website. You will also be able to see which session you are registered for by logging into your account on the AWS Pop-up Loft Munich website.
You will receive a unique QR code upon creating your free membership account for the AWS Pop-up Loft Munich. This will enable you to access the AWS Pop-up Loft anytime, however, you will still need to register for individual events via the website in order to secure your seat.
Please check the AWS Pop-up Loft Munich website often, as we are always adding more sessions, bootcamps, and events.
Our Solutions Architect team is available between 09:00 – 18:00 for a 1:1, 30 or 60-minute. You can register online for a scheduled appointment or request a meeting onsite.
We recommend that you register online as space is very limited and demand is high.
If you’re unable to make it, we kindly ask that you cancel the appointment to open up the slot to someone else.
You can cancel your Technical Bootcamp registration by logging into your Membership Account and cancel from your programme. Please let us know ahead of time if you are unable to make a Bootcamp so that we can offer this place to someone else.
